British-born Faithfull rose to fame as a popular singer and actress beginning in the 1960s and ’70s, during which time, she also became addicted to drugs and alcohol. In 2007, during a TV interview, Faithfull revealed she had hepatitis C. She had learned of her diagnosis 12 years prior.
